At RRP we define value as the principals and standards of behaviour within a community and what is deemed as important to a community.
The following are the founding values of Rebellion Roleplaying:

Freedom over Restriction.
The RRP default is to be permissive. Your world, your way.

We allow everything we are able to give Rebels the freedom to explore and express themselves through roleplay. Only when the community asks or there are reoccurring issues do we consider introducing new guidelines or revising them.

We do not believe Rebels need harsh regulations. Only that we need to continue to develop solutions to promote a safe and fun experience for Rebels.

Intolerant of Intolerance.
To defend the RRP community from intolerance we will never give space to intolerant philosophies. Those who refuse to respect opinions and beliefs contrary to their own will never be welcome here.

Diversity Not Uniformity.
Diversity is more than gender and race. Its orientation, roles, life experiences, religious beliefs, political leanings, principles, personality types, and so much more. This is valuable not just for the sake of freedom but so as a community we can learn and grow from one another.

No Special Treatment.
It is important to us that everyone in the RRP community be treated equally. To do this our Staff reviews all guidelines and cases as a group to ensure we are fair and consistent in our decisions.

Roleplaying, Kink, and Consent.
The Kink and Roleplay communities are often intertwined. Here at RRP we have designed a community that give Rebels the freedom to roleplay things that are commonly viewed as taboo or deviant. Things like BDSM and S&M are kinks that are often played out in roleplays and that is often how someone discovers that they are not just a roleplay but a Kinkster as well.

It is important to remember open communication between Rebels is key when handling any mature themes. Be explicit in what you want and remember at any time you can say you are no longer comfortable with something that is happening in a scene.

Consent is king.

We at RRP feel that it is our responsibility as a community to help people learn safe ways to negotiate and participate in fetishes and kinks of all kinds. If you want more information about Kink please check out our Kinkster’s Almanac for resources.
